Tesco photo/max Spielmann

Hello. First post though I'm a regular reader!
So today I tried to order photos online with Tesco. Website message says they are having issues and they'll let me know when the site is up and running and send me a promotional code. However, this message was on display a good few weeks ago when i tried to order.
Long story short, I've phoned Tesco customer services and they've informed me they sold the business to max Spielmann 18months ago and it was advertised Instore. I did notice the max Spielmann (MS) shop in my local store but didn't realise the business had been sold. anyway, I've been given an email to contact MS and I did so BUT they've sent an email back saying apologies the website is currently unavailable.
I've fired off an email to Tesco customer services as I'm a little worried i can't access years worth of photos.
Has anyone came across this or had any issues with this? Does anyone know of a link where I can access my photos?
Furthermore, does Tesco have the right to do this- pass all my photos to another company without informing me? Though at the moment I can't say for sure they've done this as I can't actually access my photos!

Apologies for my lack of knowledge, but do Tesco advertise this as a photo storage service? I know my friend orders photo books through them but they don't store all their photos on tescos server?0

They state that you can backup your photos from the phone to their cloud storage0 -
OP I hope the photos weren't your only copy ?
Don't see why you should be contacting Tesco about it since they sold the business.0 -
(quoted wrong person sorry)
Back up implies that its a back up... not the only copy you own?0
