Direct Debit Query

I know I've read the answer to this but can't find it

I know you can satisfy various DD requirements using a Tesco Internet Saver and an Instant Access Savings Account but can you do it with just 2 Internet Savers?

Tesco shouldn't mind as it's from 2 separate accounts and, say, Lloyds should be happy as it's also from 2 separate accounts

  • I think you can. I have one of each myself. Neither has much money in it as I transfer it to a better place when the balance gets above £50 or so.
  • Works for me:)

  • Sorry to hijack the thread, but didn't want to open up a new thread as this conversation seems current and relevant!!

I've got 2x tesco Savers and use them to pull DD's from Halifax.

Can these Direct Debits pull from another persons account? (my friends) who I intend to Recruit to Nationwide for £100 each (RAF).

    Thanks

You need to check the T&Cs of the Tesco account in question. I believe they say 'no', and that people who have ignored the T&Cs have had their DD mandates rejected.

    Cheers Colsten,

    That makes sense.

Else you could just pull money from any account you had details for!!
