Can anyone please explain why a flight only deal for 4 seats costs > £4000 but a flydrive for 4 seats, same dates, same flights costs just over £2200, inclusive of car?
Try it on the website - depart on 28/06/2008, return on 12/07/2008.
This seems well crazy. Apologies if this has been asked before, any help is much appreciated.

Can't get their UK site to work at the moment, but if I were you, I'd use a different airline and book my car hire seperately.0

Thx.
Do you have any examples?
Everyone else :-
Would still like advice on my original post if possible? Thx.0 -
Airline pricing structures can sometimes seem like the 8th wonder of the world. Its probably to do with the fact that Globespan have one pricing structure for the pure airlines seats, and another pricing structure for the packaged holidays, which the flydrive would fall into.0

Thx.
Kinda makes sense.
So - seems like a good thing then, if one wants a basic family fly drive to Orlando?
Not committing just yet, just need a push in the right direction. :eek:0 -
I would certainly think twice about booking long haul flights anywhere with Globespan, they have been a disaster this summer, delays that have stretched from hours into days,, have a look at www.airlinequality.com to see passenger opinions!0

I'd try MyTravel, as they're the only airline going out of Glasgow to offer flydrives and not require the customer to add insurance etc at an extortionate rate.
Car hire through these guys is a plan.0 -
Thx for replies.
I've had good and bad experiences with many of the UK airlines.
It's just your donald duck on the day really.
Ryanair and Flybe both let me down big time this year.0 -

i'd certainly suggest you look at airlinequality again0 -
Cheers.
Feedback forums can be a wee bit hit and miss, I find.
A 1/5 rating simply because a pre-booked seat was occupied by someone else is nonsense in my book. Some folk love a good moan.
Thx again.0
