YESIF I WAS STEALING MONEY FROM THEM THEY WOULD LOCK ME UP FOR IT.
VERTEX THINK THEY CAN STEAL OFF EVERYONE AND ANYONE AND GET AWAY WITH IT.
NOT IN THIS CASE.. I BITE BACK WITH A VENGANCE.
THEY KNOW THIS AND DONT WANT ME ANYWERE NEAR BOLTON.
BUT I WILL NOT REST IF SOMEONE STEALS FROM ME.(EVEN WHEN I HAVE PROVED I HAVE NO ARREARS), HOW CAN ANYONE ACCUMILATE ARREARS WHEN IT IS TAKEN DIRECT OUT OF WAGE????? AS I REQUESTED.
I EVEN SENT (VIA FAX)(COPY VIA REG MAIL)PAPERWORK STATING ARREARS AS "NIL" BUT STILL THEY CONTINUE TO COLLECT ARREARS.
1 CASE ENDED IN NOV2006 STILL THEY COLLECT PAYMENT.
OTHER CASE ENDS DEC2007(UNLESS FURTHER ED).
THEY ARE HOPING AND PRAYING I WILL FORGET.
THE PROTEST PLANNED WILL HIGHLIGHT THE ISSUE AND HOPEFULLY ENCOURAGE OTHER PEOPLE TO SPEAK OUT ABOUT "BOLTON VERTEX" BEFORE IT IS SHUT DOWN.AS IT IS STATEDON THIS WEB SITE...TAKE A LOOK..http://www.pcs.org.uk/templates/internal.asp?NodeID=9128000 -
If you think they mistreat absent parents badly, you should see how they treat their staff!!!
Vertex is an outsourcing company who aim to be a £1bn company by 2013, and then sell on. They gain these contracts by promising the earth to prospective customers without thought into if they can produce the results, hence pushing staff to ring and hound NRPs for money. They also have other accounts like Marks & Spencer and National Trust.
All post goes via a PO Box address in Crewe so nothing is direct and ends up getting sorted (eventually, if at all) and passed on at a later date.
The office is for clerical cases only ie the ones the Government can't do because their new system is 9 years late being implemented. The staff aren't CSA trained, but in-house, and the levels of 'expertise' vary from low to, well, non-existent.
Arrears can accrue if you are paying by DEO as someone may have overlooked the debt before a case was transferred to the new system, and the next person to perform an annual account breakdown may remember to do it. So, yes, you will still be in debt even though you weren't made aware the time before.
Parents with care are equally as bad - especially over Xmas as they want everything paid out before it has been paid in. There isn't, as is thought, a big pot of money at Vertex to dip into - all the money is paid into the government coffers and only administered through Vertex's system.
Currently, if you owe over £500, you are liable to be taken to Court Enforcement, a process that has now been 'speeded up' to attempt to recoup £££££s owed by non-paying parents, regardless of current financial status.0 -

El Bound,
Thanks for that post but I would point out that you replied to a thread that was last posted on (before your post) in August 2007.
Anyway, my advice to you on here would be to not answer, at all, any personal questions or questions about the department that you may have worked in, or indeed may still work in, which may eventually lead to you being identified.
The information that you can possibly give to all on here will undoubtedly be of great value, but please be very careful.
Now then..tell us more please
