over 80s passport

Help please does anyone know if it is still possible to get a free passport for over 80 year old people i know it was possible at one time but as i am 80 next birthday i would like to know

I've read a few online things that state "over 75s get a free one"

The link is out of date. The free passport is available to those that were a certain age at the end of WW2, the OP will not qualify.0 -
You can get or renew a British passport for free if you’re a British national and were born on or before 2 September 1929.0
