    Morning all!

    Congrats on the job Ally and good luck in your "first" day!

    So OH is off and the dog has been shipped off the OH's mum so I'm all on my own! I work much longer hours that OH so not fair to leave the dog cooped up all day. Plus OH's mum lost her dog recently so I'm sure she'll like having one around for a week.

    So today I have/will:-
    * Check banks
    * Quick tidy around house
    * Take lunch to work (yesterdays lunch tbh as boss bought me a cake and then let me finish early so I could catch OH before he left so didn't eat it)
    * Print out waiver/information for Tough Mudder at work
    * Book parking for TM as price goes up on the day
    * Earn more on OnePoll
    * Cull some emails
    * Go for a run
    * Dinner from stores
    * Tidy living room
    * Sort through paper work mountain!
    * Rearrange second bedroom

    Think that's everything for today. Hope you all have a good day!

    Morning everyone, thank you for starting DNMS :)

    Bob - my brother is doing a lot better now thank you, he's out of hospital, it wasn't a stroke they think it might be a mild case of bells paulsy (SP?).

    Ally - good luck with the job :)

    Things I've done/going to do today:
    - All meals from stores (gonna ask mum if I can have lunch there)
    - Go to dentist app :(
    - Email current EA to confirm they got my email
    - Pack some more stuff for move (if I feel up to it)
    - Check FPL
    - Make lunch for work tomorrow
    - Read Martin's email (not had a chance yet!!)
    - Water at work
    - List of things before move
    - List of things before holiday (I will get these two done at some point!!)
    - Purge on emails
    - Do at least 1 survey
    - Blog post

    Good afternoon everyone, I am doing a quick post as currently in uni. DNMS - Thanks for starting the thread off this morning.

    So far today I have gotten ds1 to school armed with packed lunch, dropped the little ones at childminder/nursery and paid childminder bill. Gotten to uni, although still feeling a bit rough with a head cold.

    My plan for tonight
    Go into town and sort out present for dh, as his birthday is next week *done*
    All meals from stores *done*
    Collect little ones from childminder *done*
    Do 2 loads of washing
    Check benefit entitlement
    Make shopping list using meal plan
    Do online weekly shop
    Check FPL *done*
    Check luckyphone *done*
    Get rid of 50 emails
    Read Martins email
    Update cv, ready to apply for the type of work that I want
    Look into clicksnap ( I am sure that I downloaded this but never actually used it)
    Look into checkoutsmart (I have not used this for a while)
    Swagbucks
    Look for part time work
    Check onepoll
    Check cl*xsense
    Do daily on JPJ whilst avoiding the temptation to spend
    Look into topping up ds1’s lunch card
    Look into setting up bounts, I tried to set the account up a few months back but couldn’t understand it.
    Set up a blog

    I think that is enough to be getting on with today, Hope everyone has a good Friday x

    Afternoon all, :wave:

    Ever feel like you've opened a wardrobe and stepped into Narnia?

    *Went to work for my day-long health and safety induction back with my old employer to be told I'm not going to do a manual job for a 'filler' for a week or two but I'm straight in at Management level on Sunday! Erm...ok then...I wasn't expecting that! Tried to take the news casually :whistle: and not look like I was thinking "Yikes!" So I'm going to stick with this plan and see what happens. I've got tomorrow off to recover from the shock and revaluate my career plan. Bring it on.

    * Today we had to phone the DWP to sign off. This was remarkably complex. OH called them and they wouldn't talk to her about it!
    :question: I had to call them.

    * OH has a job interview next Friday for some physiotherapy work. :T The day after she has major dental surgery. :silenced: Could go either way. Anyway it's a step in the right direction.

    Now where's that cider? Have a good Friday. :wave:

    Oh wow! That's quite a shock Ally! At least you had your mind made up for you!

    Decided to book another block of circuits sessions and go tomorrow morning. I do have a free pass for a gym and was going to do a class there - but it didn't really work timing wise plus I find my normal circuits better. This one was all about number of reps and pretty much forget form, but I think its better to do thinks properly as surely that's more effective? Not MSE but I did book a block to make them cheaper! Maybe I'll see if there are any classes on Sunday I could use it for instead.

    1poll
    Do some work tonight. Try and get ahead of the game for next week
    Resisted do taking DD for drink and cake, came home instead
    PAD to debt 1 :T
    Research best use of bag of damsons I bought for a £1

    The artist who is displaying her work for the art trail this weekend has not yet been in. She's cutting it fine! Am really hoping it will be good for business this weekend.

    Hope it brings in money for you. Visiting book groups used to bring in money for us.

    Convince DH to seriously consider a neighbours request to rent our garage (we only use it for storage atm)

    You might also find someone who wants to rent it on Gumtree's Parking Garage site (Link) or on this site (Link) or this one (Link).

    Do they still have the energy club thing on this site? Might that be worth looking at - unless FU feature prominently of course :eek:

    :idea: Yes, they do. MSE's use of the name 'club' is a bit misleading, it's more of a service. You do an energy comparison and switch to a cheaper company (if you want to). Then every month you get an email telling you whether you are still on the cheapest service. (Link)

    Just tell me to "shut the flump up" if I'm becoming a Know-It-All!
