Afternoon all,
Missed yesterday, just so busy but don't really know what with!
Sending (((hugs))) to all the poorly posters and their poorly family members. It seems there are a lot at the moment
I've stuck a meat pudding in the slow cooker today, never done it before and am a bit worried that it will turn out ok. Still I'm sure DH will eat it anyway.
I think there's a storm coming as I can hear thunder...
Right time to get on. Have a good rest of the day0 -
Had cereal for breakfast then went out with heavy bag of books to return from the library. Got back to find a parcel had been left with a neighbour so will need to call round.
Still had home made chicken and veg soup so had that for lunch and baked a crustless quiche with eggs, sliced ham.,onions, peppers and tomatoes with a sprinkle of herbs.
DD is coming round tonight so will start to make a diet spinach potato and lamb curry for dinner.Contacted lawyer and dropped off information for probate yesterday so fingers crossed that won't take more than a couple of weeks longer.
Still no offers for the house - got hopeful when the phone rang just now but it was just spam, sales, con - call it what you will. I know what I would like to call it but was brought up not to use certain language

Strange day today, started with acupuncture....supposed to help with weight reduction, nothing happening so far, but then miracles are not very frequent, will give it another couple of weeks!
Came home and hadbreakfast porridge, went to supermarket and got anything else we will need for the month(I hope) but spent almost €60 .....had expected it to be about half of that .
Upon investigating a rather heavy tin in a high cupboard I discovered most of a fruit cake, perfectly edible due, I suspect, to a large amount of brandy used to soak the fruit.
Usually anything I find hidden in a cupboard is mouldy and only fit for the bin!
Have completely forgotten what anyone said, so will send best wishes and big hugs to everybody. Take care of yourselves, I need my friends.
