So I posted some while back ,got Nat West to correct error and backdate Default to Aug 2009.
So everything good, dropped off all CRAs,
Just checked and today they have updated with original account now showing AP starting Sept 17th.
This is in my understanding incorrect,
So its back to Nat West tommorow.
I had been checking Mse credit card eligibility checker since defaults removed and was getting 95 % chances of approval, checked tonight and results indicated only sub prime,so that made me have a look at the latest info on my file
Glad I did.

Formal complaint, standard £250 compo for breaching DPA, they should remove the AP markers.
It can, however, take up to 3 months to get sorted (8 weeks for the complaint, then up to 4 to get the information removed)💙💛 💔0 -
I had this with Sainsbury, took over 9 months to get sorted ,they insisted as there was money owning they were in there right to report a r after the default dropped of took filing a complant with the ico and e mailing there cheif exc to sort so go to the top0

Thanks for your advise guys.
Contacted them today, had long conversation and they upheld my complaint.
They agreed that the account should not have been re reported post the 6 year Default anniversary.
They agreed to do a manual update to remove the data, this can be completed within 24 hours but up to 7 days.
They compensated me £100.
So it is important to keep checking your credit reports.
It was the MSE credit card checker that made me concerned,as it only was matching me with subprime cards, the day before the account was reapplied to the CRAs it was matching me with everything at 90% plus.
I asked for a guarantee that this would never happen again and they assured me it wouldn't, so we shall see next month!!
All the best.0
