Flat roof insurance

Hi
I have a flat roof over most of the house, pvc not felt.
It's difficult to find house insurance, in fact it's pretty much 'Home Protect'. They have the flat roof endorsement which I'm not too comfortable with, even though the flat roof is in good condition.

Any other providers out there that anyone can recommend?

thanks

There are many schemes which will take on the risk but they will all apply an endorsement. Have you spoke to a local broker (not swintons) to see if they can arrange cover? Or if your neighbours have similar properties, see where they have obtained insurance.

Towergate are one I've seen recently (not a recommendation) who do a flat roof scheme - https://www.towergateinsurance.co.uk/flat-roof-insurance
  • I'll chat to the neighbours when I get a chance, but I'm not there during the day so it's getting hold of them.

Also there's a variety of roof materials in my street
