Clearing high amounts of debt without defaulting?

  • Right, have put it all on the snowball calculator, and at our current rate of repayment, we can clear it in 56 months. We both get annual increments at work, and we are going to have a look at our budget and see what we can reduce, with a view of challenging ourselves to shave as much time off those 56 months as we can! I feel motivated to do this. Thanks for all the advice and for sharing your stories, it really helps.
Proud to be dealing with my debts.

Look at the difference in those 2 statements, that's what we call a light bulb moment (LBM) and your motivation is now shining through. Well done Sadmonkey, you are on your way to becoming debt free :T
