No, the comma is superfluous. It would also give it a double meaning, "money matters to disabled people" - which is not the message most would want to put across!0 -
Glad it's been changed. Can't say I was ever keen on Disability and Dosh.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

I quite liked the old Disability and Dosh as the title and didn't find it offensive at all.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0

Its about time, change has been called for for years. The 'Loadsamoney' / Harry Enfield ~ Oi You!! Shut your mouth and Look at my wad! LOADSAMONEY!!! always had connotations with greed and grabbing and was certainly the prevailing attitude of most [including the disabled] posters here about 3 to 5 years ago. It existed also with blue badges for non-disabled use, bragging about big Merc, BMW's and sports cars on Motability in these threads ~ We should put our own house in order first or someone else will .. .. and did do it for us.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. I try to be an even-handed poster and accept that you at times may not agree with these opinions or how I choose to express them, this is not my problem. when this board was opened some time ago now, many of us suspected that it would end up duplicating much of what is covered on the benefits board, and guess what?thats what happened.
hopefully the change of title will help stop that, maybe it won't
but whatever they call it,its good to have a board for the disabled0 -

I suspect the only way to sort-of do that would be to separate out the tax-credits, in/out of work benefits.
And this would be left as stuff like where to get mobility scooters cheaply, and good days out.
That would mean at least another couple of groups, and wouldn't really work very well even assuming aggressive moderation.
And that's neglecting the upcoming universal credit smashing in-and out of work benefits and tax credits together.
Never mind the fact that for any but the simplest cases ESA/JSA/IS/HB/CTS/IB/SDA/CA/LHA/SMI/WTC/CTC all interact in ways fun and surprising that you can't consider in isolation.0 -
Thank you, I hated the previous name! Much more appropriate!0
