Appeciate your comments GD. This is the first time i've appealed to IAS and given the difference of opinions as to the usefulness of appealing to them in the first place, i put in everything i could think of so that i can hopefully get help to edit it when going to court. It was less a growing in confidence but more the worry of how the IAS will treat it. Thought maybe within the huge diatribe they may miss something useful at court. Just don't know.0

Update to the above.
No evidence presented by Excel to IAS, awarded in my favour. Have since had another three. First one appealed and final outcome is that they have asked for a £10 cancellation fee as a "gesture of goodwill". Another has already been challenged and awaiting response, just about to submit the last one.0 -
Excel have not submitted evidence so a win. There's something funny with the owners of the site.
TRB Estates Limited, Suite 201, Merchants Court, Derby Street, Liverpool, L2 1TS.
There's no phone number, no trading activity for some time, been into liquidation, moved to another addresses. It's a bit weird. Been in touch with the Council who are looking into it as they have no contact details but TRB are still the registered landowner??

Good afternoon all,
I have a court letter regarding a Bryan House PCN
I have applied for an AOS as the letter arrived whilst i was away.
Facts of my experience :
1. I visited the Chinese restaurant with a friend and saw the Wigan County Council illuminate in the headlights stating the parking is free after 17.30 hours on a Sunday.
2. We parked near to the restaurant, as it was cold and raining, whereupon a banner on the restaurant wall was illuminated by the headlights stating a charge of eighty pence per hour was the general rate. As we had arrived at 17.43 we agreed that it was NOT applicable at that time and NONE of the other vehicles had tickets.
3.A PCN arrived from Parking Eye.
4.Upon further investigation, in day light, it was apparent that a further tariff board was displayed a charge upto 18.00 hours on a Sunday. Although the peripheral walls are illuminated, for safety reasons, the remainder of the car park and subsequent signs are in darkness.
5. I have followed the advice here and appealed. However, I have recently received a court letter and a further, one of MANY, BW Legal letter demanding over £238
6. Does anyone have any court experience that could assist / guide me please?
I realise everyone is busy at this time of year but this and ANY amount demanded is extortionate for seventeen minutes. I did offer to pay the eighty pence, alas that was rejected.
Regards
