Accommodation close to Burghley Nr Stamford

Am looking for a good but not too expensive accomodation close to Burghley in Stamford - any ideas please (asked this for the North east area and got the lead of www.farmstay.uk and found a brilliant B&B) Thanks

It's about 15 miles to Peterborough, so if you not fussed there are three Travelodges - might get supersaver deal. Have in mind that new one in city centre has no free parking.

Many thanks for the lead - am attending a birthday party at Burghley House in Januaryb next year and thought would try and secure some accomodation nearby that would be OK to saty overnight and at same time wasn't going to be too expensive as sometimes a little local knowledge can come up with some really great places. Any further ideas are always welcome.
