THE Carlsberg Fan Squad is out to make football better for supporters, and thanks to the makers of the official beer of the Barclays Premier League and the England team, the Sentinel has a pair of tickets to give away to a true Stoke City fan for the Potters' home clash with Leicester City this Saturday.
It promises to be a cracking match, with Stoke keen to get their stuttering campaign up and running, and Leicester striving to maintain their excellent start to the season under new manager Claudio Ranieri.
The game will also see the return to the Britannia Stadium of Stoke old boy Robert Huth, always a favourite of the Boothen End faithful, who left the club in the summer to join the Foxes after a successful loan spell with the East Midlands club.
The closing date for entries is noon tomorrow, September 17. The winner will be notified by phone.
If Carlsberg did kickabouts, they would probably have magic sponges that were actually magic, beer glasses that refill themselves, Peter Schmeichel as a ball boy and Jeff Stelling commenting.
And to celebrate Carlsberg's sponsorship of the Barclays Premier League, the official beer of football has a new TV ad featuring probably the best kickabout in the world.
