Windows 10 upgrade problem

Options
I have a Toshiba U400-13r laptop that originally had visa installed. I upgraded to windows 7 and now keep getting the free windows 10 upgrade notification.

When I try to upgrade I get the error message:
0xC1900101 -0x20017
The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during BOOT operation

I have tried to install windows 10 by clicking the free upgrade link and also by downloading windows 10 to a usb key but neither way works.

I have noticed (and this could be the cause of my problem) that my laptop should have two hard drives installed with different drive letters? It used to have this with windows vista. But after installing windows 7 it just shows the C drive with 107gb free of 186gb.

For some reason windows 7 has combined the two drives

Any help please?
