Has anyone ever lost yahoo email search & got it back?

It isn't working for me, and from googling a few other people have the same problem, but I haven't found anyone who's managed to solve it. So I wondered if anyone else has lost the search function, but managed to get it back? Even old emails that I know are there from scrolling down, but when I try and find them via search, they don't show up in the search results. The only emails that do are from the last month.
