Martin has never claimed to be able to call asset markets, despite his love of things financial. Ex-used car salesman Dom however thinks a few months hosting a property prog make him George Soros. Now he stands to reep the rewards of his hubris.

I missed that part of the show and I don't think its online to watch so cant really comment.

I wouldn't call wine investments an asset class - although I guess you could call an en primeur investment a "future". Very high risk and not something most people should play with unless you can afford to lose everything you put in.

Are you saying that a recommendation by this Dom chap made you invest in wine and now the market has dropped and you're not happy?

Or am I missing the point completely?
