Can anyone help/advise on next steps if there is any!!!!!!!
I started a PPI claim against SPPL for a secured loan taken out in March/April 2004.
I then was advised to seek direction/assistance from the FSCS to see whether I would be entitled to any compensation, they have advised me via (Delotte) that as my loan agreement/discussion/arrangement took place prior to January 2005 that I have no access to compensation/recourse.
I can't believe that I'm the only person here that's been thrown on to that huge pile of S*^t, another victim of financial mismanagement.
Can I now go after the insurance company that underwrote the PPI policy a I have all the documentation/certificate of insurance or am I proper F*^ked?????????????
Apologies for the profanity only i'm feeling a wee bit peeved at the moment as the PPI charged was £7.5K

You can try the underwriters but they have no liability, and as you've found out, they were unregulated at the time you bought the loan.
It really doesn't matter if they went into liquidation or not because they weren't regulated so could have dismissed your complaint.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
