TNC Final Demand

Hi there, Im very new but I have just received a 3rd letter from TNC saying my parking charge notice has gone up to £149, i have been ignoring the last letters but this has final demand on it. Do I carry on to ignore them or is there a template letter I can send them?

Many thanks

Toothless debt collectors, what are they threatening to do? Jump up and down and cry if you do not send them money? or may do this that or the other?

debt collectors have NO LEGS TO STAND ON

    IGNORE them

if you get an LBC or an MCOL from the actual creditor (the actual PPC), then you need advice and need to defend yourself (debt collectors cannot do this)

you need do nothing at all until that happens, if it ever happens, within 6 years of the event
  • Ok thank you its been over 8 months since the PNC got handed out, I know some people have sent letters should I bother doing that or asking for a POPLA? Oh honestly just leave it and let them carry on sending letters.

you have not mentioned the name of the PPC but due to the longevity of this case I doubt you can appeal and I doubt you will get popla either

if it ever goes to court, you can try for a popla adjudication by asking for it in your initial defence, if the judge granted it then they would have to allow it as an ADR

its either pay up or ignore, I would ignore and take my chances with a possible court claim

if you fail to pay the debt collector, they dont get paid, so they add their bit on and can only send out scary letters, hence why they are doing this

after 6 years, neither can do anything at all , 8 months is neither here nor there
  • Its just from TNC Park services, Member of the BPA on the poorly formatted letter with final warning on it. What are the chances of it going to court, I mean is £150 worth paying to shut up them or do you think it will never go to court?

TNC as a debt collector cannot take this to court, only the landowner or the parking company. If you tell us who the PPC is, we could give you some idea as to their propensity to litigate.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    TNC are debt collectors

until you tell us the name of the PPC your questions cannot be answered

plus we can only tell you about past performance on court cases, the PPC may have done none until now and could issue hundreds or thousands over the next 6 years, like Parking Lie have done
  • Sorry for being dumb but what does PPC stand for?! I'll try answer everything much as I can :)
