Browsing the Eon website I came across ,the heat interface unit which appears to be a electronic version of a programmer has anyone details of its suitability for domestic property's, cost etc

The Heat Interface Unit (HIU) is a device that works with our District Heating Schemes. These are community based set ups that stand apart from conventional heating systems. These customers are supplied with heat and hot water through an Energy Centre based on specific residential developments. The HIU isn't available for domestic properties with conventional heating arrangements.

Hi Tammy. What exactly are you trying to achieve? Most basic heating systems come with two controls - a timer and a thermostat. The timer usually controls CH and HW (off/on). Some are called programmers because they often can be programmed 5/2 days with 3 on/off selections. T he thermostat just controls the max temperature in the room where it is located.
