How to split one Hifi Aux in into multiple please?

Hi,

I want to run my TV and mobile phone through my HIFI at the same time. So for example to play Xbox and have my phone playing music.

The Hifi has one aux in using RCA. The tv has a headphone out and RCA out, the phone has a headphone out.

Would buying these make it work and is it safe to do so please?

No the only way you can achieve what you want is to have an active pre-mixer.

Would it work but i would need to adjust all the levels on each to get the balance right and it would just be a bit fiddly?

If i try it as a learning experience and manage by a miracle to get things working without the mixer would i damage or blow anything up ? haha

It won't work and yes you could blow outputs/inputs, damage amplifiers and blow speakers.

Whats the cheapest pre mixer i can get ?

I am not sure i am looking at the right things they seem to be very expensive ; maybe this is right

Presumably you want to listen to music while using the xbox. Not listen to music and the xbox at the same time. An input selector switch would allow you to choose which source to listen to.

I was hoping to use both at the same time.

But have the music at a lower level then the game ..:)

I guess this is the easiest way i just wanted to take advantage of the better speakers for both
