MyVegas.com Rewards

Hello All,

Me & my partner started playing myvegas.com on the recommendation of other users on the Vegas forum but i have a couple of questions i hope to get answered if possible?

Is the best way to attack the rewards? Should i mostly use them for meals or is it cheaper to get meals elsewhere? My idea was to use them for breakfasts? I've never been to Vegas so i have no idea on the price of food/drinks etc...

Any help would be great!

Thanks

Darren

Depends how many points you have, we have always used ours for shows and mopped up any spare ones for buffets.
But the rewards are nothing like as good as they were a couple of years ago or even last year.

I currently have 6000 so i'm hoping between us to have 40,000 by the end of May which is when we go.

There's a lot of info on the Vegas thread on this forum

I used some of my MyVegas points last week in Vegas.
We were only there for 4 nights so tues-thurs we paid for rooms but didn't want to pay the weekend rate as it was an expensive weekend as there was a fight event on which pushes prices up so we used some points for a free hotel night on the Strip -saving about $150, used other vouchers for buffets -MGM breakfast voucher for two was redeemed as breakfast or lunch , we also booked a cabana bed for the day -came with some free waters and lots of much needed shade at Red Rock and another voucher was for casino credit. Definitely saved us money :)

Yeah seems like it was a good plan! The dates we go are very specific as its a road trip honeymoon so i;d be surprised if i can use the points on rooms. Hotel credit might also be a plan!
I could always split my stay into two different hotels one MGM group and another (we haven't decided what hotel we want yet) to use all these vouchers? As long as the check in's are quickish....
