Parking Charge Notice in Warwick

Hi,

I just received last weekend a Parking Charge Notice in Warwick, parked on 28-08 from 13:04 to 15:20 but my parking ticket was from 13:19 to 17:19 on the same day.

It's stated on the PCN: We therefor require payment of this Parking Charge Notice, in accordance with the parking terms and condition clearly stated on the signage.

"Payment not made in accordance with terms displayed on signage". - Red Colour

Amount Due within 28 days £100
Reduced amount if paid within 14 days: £60

Do I need to appeal for this? / pay? I don't know what is stated on the signage because I'm busy feeding my kids while waiting/ looking for a parking space.

Please advise.

Thanks ,
Jas

  • The first thing to do is read and digest the NEWBIES thread.

Entering a car park is not the same as parking and I think you will find the Fistral Beach threads useful.

Come back with some details such as the PPC.

  • Hi Northflakes,

Thanks for replying. I found a thread here, almost the same case as mine:

You have overpaid so they have lost nothing, so you owe nothing. Jump through their hoops and cost them money.
