Hi guys,
I have windows 10 on my sony vaio laptop and the past few days everything keeps going to not responding, even doing this has taken me ages because of it not responding.
I have cleared history and cookies ect but it has made no difference at all.
When I use google chrome it doesn't happen so I know it is not my laptop.
Any ideas if there is anything I can do ?

Damn I didn't realise that I shouldn't have downloaded so now have to wait for the new drivers in October.gave up smoking 07/01/09 :j:j:j0

I have looked on the back of my laptop and under model it says PCG-71911M
not sure if that is correct thoughgave up smoking 07/01/09 :j:j:j0 -

That equates to the model number of VPCEH3N6E, I'm assuming that you upgraded from W7 64bit ? Probably a lot of installed sony cr@apware will be causing more of an issue than drivers.
The best way to upgrade is using the keep nothing option, I know it's a pain of reinstalling your programs and settings but this gives you an effective clean slate and no carry over of potential problems of the existing install.
There isn't any exotic (or really old) hardware on that model so drivers should be OK anyway.Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -

When using the Sony web site for drivers etc I believe that you will need to use the product name eg "VPCEH3N6E"4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . Aint no sunshine ☀️ Octopus gas fixed dec 24 @ 5.74 tracker again+ Octopus Intelligent Flux leccy0 -
Hang on - But didn't you say Chrome is working fine ??
So drivers certainly aren't the issue
Are you using Internet explorer when the problems arise, or edge ?0 -
