How do you wash microfibre cloths?

I've got 2 microfibre cloths, one for dusting, and one for cleaning the kitchen. The dusting one seems to be fine after washing in just bio powder in the WM as it says don't use fabric conditioner, but I still can't get the stains that OH created on the other one, and it also seems like a huge waste of money to put them in WM on their own, and handwashing in the sink didn't work! So how do you do it?

Ooh I like the idea of putting them in the dishwasher sharon59 then I don't have to do a seperate wash for them. I use fabric conditioner with my towels (don't know if this is the wrong thing to do) but it specifically stated on the label not to use this with mf cloths.
With the washing soda crystals Dusty how much do you use, and where do you get them etc?Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
Hi
I've got several microfibre cloths and just bung them in with the rest of the washing, i also use fabric conditioner and they've always come out fine.
Is there a reason why you shouldn't ues it?0 -
yeah I vary from dw, washing machine, and even the microwave to kill beasties!
make sure it's damp if you microwave it.

If you use fabric softener on microfibre (or other) cloths and then use the cloths to clean your windows, stainless steel etc, you'll leave streaks galore and will never get a smear free finish. The softener seems to be a bit greasy.0

I read somewhere that using fabric conditioner also makes the fibres stick together or something like that, so they don't work as effectively.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170
