Full height metal stair spindles

Options
We are buying a house with tight curved staircase to the loft. There is no bannister or spindles, just a drop down to the ground floor.

Due to the tight turn we were thinking of putting in floor to ceiling metal spindles but despite searching for ages I can't find anything suitable- everything online seems to be waist height.

Any suggestions?

How long ago was this conversion done, as this does not comply with Building Regulations, and there may be other aspects of the conversion which is non-compliant and unsafe?
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.

Over 20 years ago. The room will mainly be used as storage. We are aware that it will not meet building regs as it was converted such a long time ago.
