If you don't get this humour, just to clarify that China Eastern is the worst possibility, don't even consider for a second flying on China Eastern.
Since you are very tall, go for the airline that has an extra legroom seat available at time of booking. The seat selection 24 hours before departure is no good to you. Also consider Thai Airways.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
That's not quite right, as front row exit seats are not available for online booking. Unless it's those airlines that offer them for sale.
Just have a note put on your booking with a request for that seat, stating that you are tall and relatively strong.0 -
Thanks AirCooledHeaven. Do all planes have the same type? I seem to think that in the past I've seen some with two pins or am I dreaming?AirCooledHeaven wrote: »Hi, you can get one from Maplin for £1.50, here's the link:

Air new zealand FANTASTIC ! http://www.airnewzealand.com/gateway.jsp
I'm 5'11 and went to LA with a friend who is 6' 5 and we both found the seats comfy. Obviously you cant kick around but we were pleasently suprised by the room. They were also super cheap, LHR to LAX rtn, £350.
Films / TV etc very good.Smile. Its the second best thing you can do with your lips....0 -

Thanks Yenners. I had a look around the Maplins site from the other link but obviously didn't look in the right place
Think I'll treat myself, I object to paying for inferior headphones that frequently don't work.
I might try the Nytol too. Am going to Oz soon and normally find it impossible to sleep on a plane so fingers crossed I might get a bit of shut eye this time!0 -
I'd recommend Singapore.......
Make sure you join the frequent flyers too....0 -
3. Your own headphones - these in ear ones by sennheiser are brilliant. They cut out outside sound and are crystal clear. No more having to put the volume to max trying to hear the in flight movie. They are only £15.99 from Amazon and I have found them a godsend when travelling (I paid over £20 for them from Amazon a year ago) - all you need is to buy a headphone jack to use them on the plane - they cost about £4.

Thanks for the tip.
Placed Amazon order today after reading rave reviews and will nip down to Maplins for the adapter.0 -

If these are the same earphones from Sennheiser - then they are free with this voucher if you spend £10 at any Richer Sounds (which I never need any excuse to do!).
