First Direct 1st Account- 2 direct debits needed for £150?

Hi All
I thought i'd take advantage of MSE's promised £150 for switching to First Direct 1st Acc. Applied for a new account and received the details and debit card. Then you have to phone them to register for telephone banking before you can register for internet banking and complete the switch. A bit of a long drawn out process!
Whilst registering for tele banking I asked the lady to confirm that you didn't have to have any direct debits set up to receive the £150. She said I WOULD have to have 2 directs debits switched to receive the £150.
I can't see any mention of direct debits on MSE or First Direct's site.
Has anyone successfully received the £150 without having 2 direct debits set up?
Thanks

What where the precise terms of the offer you signed up to? Appreciate you won't be allowed to post the proper URL but you can post it with some blanks in the name.
Whether you can post the terms or not -- - what were they? Did they say you needed to have any DDs?0 -
I was going through this link on the MSE site
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/banking/compare-best-bank-accounts?utm_source=MSE_Newsletter&utm_medium=oneliner-four&utm_term=08-Sep-15-v3&utm_campaign=banking&utm_content=9#bonus
There's no mention of DD's. Can't see anything about it on the FD site either0 -
The link you provided is to an MSE page. MSE does not set the terms and conditions for any bank offers.
The terms that apply to your switch are those that you agreed with FD at the time you requested your switch. If these terms do not stipulate that 2 DDs are required, no 2 DDs will have been required.
If you can't find the T&Cs you agreed to, you can ask FD to show them to you.0
