Short-life debit card

Just received a replacement Debit Card for my Cashminder account, existing card expires end of September 2015 but I noticed my new card is "Valid from: 09/13 Valid To 09/16". So, my new card is only valid for one year!. I chatted with an Co-op Advisor by Webchat who said the Coop have no plans to abolish Cashminder accounts...so any guess why issue a card with a life of only 1 year?

Looks like it is a 3 year card issued with the wrong start date. Some sort of keying error, perhaps? I've never received a replacement card for one that was expiring with a backdated start date.

As long as the card works that's the main thing worry about it in more detail nearer the time of expiry.
