Car insurance - overnight address

We are going on holiday in the UK. I queried with my car insurance company (Quote Me Happy) whether my car would be insured 1) to be left at my home address unattended for 5 days or 2) to be left in the holiday park's car park for 5 days unattended. I was asking out of paranoia more than anything and fully expected them to say both were fine.
Their reply was:
"Your car will be covered to be left at your home address but will not be covered to be left in a car park. This is because your car needs to be kept at the address on your policy over night."
Is this normal?! I understand it normally needing to be kept at my address overnight, but surely most insurance policies have clauses that cover the odd night elsewhere (staying at a friend's house, a long weekend away, etc.) It strikes me as a bit ridiculous! Do they not want me to have a social life?
I've checked the policy and I can't find anything about "nights away from home", apart from that it does say I will be covered for use within "territorial limits" for up to a 90 day trip. So that obviously doesn't correlate!
Should I ask again do you think?

You shouldn't have asked in the first place but now you have that answer you will need to ask again.
The usual question is 'where is your car normally kept at night'. That does not mean that cover only applies at that location.0 -
So according to some witless wonder at QMH, no one can use their car to take a holiday, you must leave it "at home".
What a load of twaddle . . .0 -
I've written a strongly worded reply, awaiting their response with interest..!0

Within the space of three emails my providers went from saying...
"Your car will be covered to be left at your home address but will not be covered to be left in a car park. This is because your car needs to be kept at the address on your policy over night."
to...
"I apologise for the unclear answers. We're happy for the car to be parked for a few days at another address or a car park, as long as for 51% or more of the year it is parked overnight at the home address."
Just goes to show! You don't always get someone who knows what they are talking about.0 -

The answer was clear - unfortunately clearly wrong.
Enjoy your holiday.0
