Help!
I received a few emails (real ones) from ebay last night, and someone has hacked into my account and sent scam messages to users asking them to launder cash for them. In the interim of me changing my ebay account, my personal email address has now locked me out, suggesting that someone has changed the password. I've contacted lycos.com to ask them to help, but I'm so worried! I've used this account for 12 years now and goodness only knows what is on there. I want to change the passwords on my online accounts etc (cc's) but all the acknowledgements will go to the tampered with address.
Panic! Any advice gratefully received!

If you are really worried that your online banking may be at risk then I would ring the banks involved and explain the situation to them. I would think they would probably put a stop on the online access untill they can verify your new details ( email address, etc ).

Thanks, I've got this to do as the first thing when I walk through the door tonight. :-S0
