Looking to go October next yearm like to be organised
Looking for tips/advice from anyone thats been before, is it better to book day trips (blue lagoon, golden circle ect) from the UK before arriving or just booking when I arrive?
I know its expensive there, only going for a four day trip for my birthday, how much should I budget for food/drink ect, I plan on staying in an apartment close to a supermarket so could probably buy a few bits for breakfast & tea then eat out for lunch.
Was planning on doing all trips via tour companys but looks like quite a few people recommened hiring a car and driving yourself, how's driving over there and will it make it cheaper to do this?
Any help/advice/tips would be appreciated

Book before you go. I went to Reykjavik in March and this was the best deal I found

If you plan to book a Northern Lights experience, book for your first night there because if the operator has to cancel due to bad weather, they will try again the following night. If you are unlucky and they don't go out on any of your nights, your money will be refunded.0 -
