Afternoon all
I went back to bed about 3ish but DGD was up at 6:30, so I'm still a few hours short, hey ho, I'll lie in tomorrow.
The weather here is very changeable, one minute very sunny, next minute heavy rain so I've not hung any washing out.
Time I went to collect hubby.

Youngest dd has set off for Liverpool and older dd has driven her with all her stuff packed to the roof.
Went to meet another dd in York and had a quick shop, a coffee and a chat then got back to go to a certain store beginning with I***
with SIL and another dd around four this afternoon.
No idea what to make for dinner unless we can find a healthy choice in the restaurant later.
I might get some paint during the week and paint a feature wall in the spare bedroom and make up a carpet solution and clean it thoroughly.
Hugs to all especially Lame Wolf, TA and csarina."This site is addictive!"

Afternoon all,
A bit slow off the mark today! Had a few errands to do this morning, picked up some lettuce plantlets to put out under cover to see us through the next few weeks until the frosts come. Got a few groceries in for the weekend. Made a sandwich for lunch then promptly fell asleep in the chair!
I've just taken the dogs out over the fields and they are now snoring gently by my feet.
Mrs. L - I'm so pleased that little Cookie has come into your life. I wonder if Docky had a hand/paw in it!!
Gathered a few blackberries whilst out - they are huge this year and load of them. Noticed sloes, acorns, hips and haws all in abundance. Makes you wonder what sort of winter we are in for.
On my own for dinner tonight. DD is saying goodbye to her soldier boyfriend (I thoroughly approve of him - he's passed the 'Mum Test') before he goes off for six weeks deployment. Although he's in the Army, he works with the apache helicopters and they are joining up with the Navy aircraft carriers for 'excercises'. I don't think I can say where they're going but it's VERY much in the news!!
Just going out now to feed the chooks and collect today's eggs. Methinks an omelette for dinner!

Good afternoon
We have bright sunshine and rain simultaneously right now
I managed to get some washing almost dry before the rain came , I'm just airing it now
Everyone sounds like they are being productive, I must admit I've been oiking my kitchen cupboards out today given them a good scrub and chucked a fair amount of old stuff , they are looking much more presentable
HH hope you can catch up on your sleep
RR I had never heard of Bon maman jam , had to google it and then I recognized it , sounds like a £1 is a bargain:T
I'd love to have another dog , it's many years since I had one , but we have a cat who is terrified of dogs so we wouldn't be able to have one while we have her
Making chicken with lemon and garlic for dinner with mash and veg , going to make a chicken and leek pie tomorrow with the rest of the chicken . I'll plate up some meals for my mum , freeze them and take them down next week . She looked very thin when I saw her last week , I suspect she's not cooking for herself ( she eats it when someone puts it in front of her ) so hopefully she can just microwave them .
Right off for a drink xx0
