Well alls well that ends well i suppose.
My Specsaver was one of the first 3 specsavers in uk.... and was celebrating its 25th anniversary with a huge promo in local paper
Basically there were two cool promos:
1- Eye Test for 2.50 (normally 25.00)
2. 30% off 75 quid and above range (which is supposed to be 25% and only usable on its own ie no other vouchers)
My work is also part of the Premium Club so I slipped two of these vouchers in for me and wife.
So heres the list of what I got (quite chuffed myself):
Eye Test Me - Normally 25.00 - 0.00 (Free eye test voucher)
Eye Test Wife - Normally 25.00 - 2.50 (2.50 promo voucher)
125.00 glasses for wife
30% Voucher - 37.50 off
20 quid voucher from work - 20.00 off
Total paid = 67.50
99.00 Glasses for me
30% Voucher - 29.70 off
20 quid Premium club voucher - 20.00 off
Total Paid = 49.30
Total without vouchers = 25.00 +25.00 + 125.00 +99.00 = 274.00
Total with vouchers = 49.30 +2.50 +67.50 = 119.30
So all in all I Paid 43.5! of what i woudl've without all the vouchers0 -

Hi everyone
Apologies if this is in the wrong section.
I wear glasses (bought from specsavers one year ago after having an eye test with them). I now have my first contact lens consultation with them tomorrow.
Can anyone tell me if how much this consultation costs?
And if anyone knows of any vouchers/codes i can get hold of, it would be much appreciated
Thanks everyone!Win £2008 in 2008 - Member no. 3950 -
I get my lenses monthly with specsavers, have done for a couple years now. As I signed up with them monthly all the lens fittings/checkups have been included.
I did read a lot about how you can get lenses cheaper if you get them online, however whenever I've looked there's not been a huge difference in price and I get my yearly lens checkups included and am able to get a couple of replacements free if I lose/break one. Also there's the convenience of getting my lenses sent to me every 3 months. Plus I had somewhere to go back to if I had a problem, which occasionally I have. Mainly I think a dodgy batch of lenses which I've had to have replaced, but I have had an optician check each time first. I think you would struggle to get this if you weren't buying lenses from the opticians.0 -
I'm in need of an eye-test.
I have used Specsavers for a number of years now and have never had any problems with them.
Does anybody have a voucher for a free eye-test with Specsavers?
Thanks0 -
I'm hoping to get there too, any discount off an eye test would be helpful. Thanks0
