Dentist and flooring!

Not sure this is the right board to post on but here goes! I recently had to go to the dentist as a filling had dropped out. I've not been for quite a while and didn't have to pay as I was receiving WTC/CTC. There bands for treatment, mine came under band 1 a temporary filling, this has come out, I'm going again to have another temporary 1 to go in, do I have to pay again?
Second question, I live in a council house and pay full rent, part of my kitchen floor is now spongy so I have an inspector coming out on Tuesday, I'm worried my flooring will have to come up or be cut or something like that. Will the council pay for this to be replaced? I have rung and asked and they said wait till Tuesday, any ideas?

Surely the temporary filling should be done because a permanent filling cannot be done on that day. Permanent filling is band 2.

Unless you want advice on diy dentistry you are on the wrong board.
Wait until Tuesday.

I'm just asking if I will have to pay for a 2nd temporary filling? The date for the permanent filling is 24 September. I have to wait til my dentist is back from holiday although there are other dentists in the practise I go to but can't see them!0 -

Maybe the man from the council could do your filling while he does your floor.:money:0 -

I thought it was going to be a post about the state of lthe Dentist's floor!"if the state cannot find within itself a place for those who peacefully refuse to worship at its temples, then it’s the state that’s become extreme".Revd Dr Giles Fraser on Radio 4 20170

Have a look at previous posts on the health and beauty board. There's a post about temp fillings there by one of our 3 resident dentists. No you wont have to pay for another one, they are not guaranteed and could last either a short or long period. I'll try to link to the thread for you.
