Forget about it. Have you seen the Flexifares offered on the route? They will make your eyes water. Don't delay, as they are a scarce resource and you are a captive audience.
If you don't have a exchange rate fee free option to pay for the Ryanair or Norwegian return leg in Euros, take a look at the Revolut application. You'll have access to a virtual card instantly.
  • I must ask, do Ryanair / easyJet charge extra for cases? I mean we are going to have more than just hand luggage. (2 week trip)
  • Yes they do. Worth checking the cost on their website.
  • Jeeze, these flights are going to cost a bloody bomb. :(

Cheaper than your original quote. Was £1305 for the evening flight and £1425 for the morning flight with Ryanair. You were claiming over £1500.

If taking dawyldthing's advice for the inbound trip, you can save even more of these prices. So more space for extra luggage. But the more than you cogitate, the higher the prices will go.
In fact the Ryanair outbound price has gone up since yesterday, as there aren't enough tickets at the lower price. So they are charging you for all at the higher price.
Yesterday according to dawyldthing was as low as £639. Now it's £760(You can save £40 of this by booking two adult tickets at the lower price for the evening flight.)
Return flight in Euros the equivalent is £604

So that total maximum price without luggage is £1364. £1324 if you take the evening flight and split the ticket purchase.

Norwegian was £626 excluding hold luggage for the inbound trip when I looked yesterday. £20 per piece for hold luggage. Not sure of Ryanair's charge. But something between £15 to £45 per piece between 15
    kg or 20kg.

If money is tight, take a flight with a short stopover:

Then you don't have any extras for which to pay and you save a lot of money of the base ticket price. Perhaps up to £300 off just this one way portion as compared to the Ryanair price. Be flexible.
  • Thanks for all your input, as there's kids I can't be doing change overs.

The easyJet price has gone up even more!

Ryanair has stayed the same, is there anyway this could go down this week?

there is a chance but nobody here will know, there is also a chance they will stay the same and, given it is over Easter, I would guess the biggest chance is that they will increase....if people are comparing Easyjet and Ryanair prices and see Easyjet are expensive they will be pushed towards Ryanair, the more seats that sell the higher the chance of them increasing further

There's always a chance but I'd place it in the highly unlikely category. Ryanair flights usually go on sale 2-3 months before departure but there's no guarantee Easter flights will be cheaper.

Are you sure? Do you really need all that stuff?
Turning left avoids some of the idiots (only some)
