capital one refund

about 3 years ago i got some ppi money back from 2 capital one cards,then just 2 days ago i get another 2 letters saying they are paying out more money to me,i heard something on tv about this but didnt know exactly what it was,can someone tell me what it is thanks,also i have chad catalogues over the years how do i find out if i have been charged ppi.i did try 24ace but they said i didnt have it,how can i find out for myself if i did,because i dont believe them

    You have no reason not to believe them to be honest.


    Unless you have statements from them with PPI on it, that's the only way you would know if you had it.
    If you didn't know if you had it, obviously you don't remember, how would you be able to remember why you would complain about being misssold. ??
