Shame on Nationwide

Another option to add to suggestions above is to set up a direct debit with Virgin to pay the monthly card bills - DDs are usually suitable to pay card bills because they can typically be set up for either full payment or minimum payment (both of which will usually be variable) rather than a fixed amount SO....I have a Flex Direct account but I cannot pay ad-hoc payments or set up a standing order to pay for my Virgin Credit Card.0 -
Hi - Sorry I should have explained it a little better - Nationwide does not recognise the sort code for Virgin Money - I cannot make a payment in any way unless I use my debit card with Virgin and this is painful and unnecessary. February 2016 fix is crazy surely0

This is ridiculous. Did you formally complain to Nationwide? http://www.nationwide.co.uk/support/contact-us/make-a-complaint0
-
Yes I did - I telephoned a complaint and then wrote a letter to the Chief Executive's office - This is when I got the "We are aware of the problem..... I can now advise that our current fix date is 2016 but I am unable to guarantee the fix will will be implemented on this date." ?!?!?!?!
I do not understand why Nationwide think this is acceptable - Maybe they are just trying to block their Credit Card competition.0
