Ha ha, I made a very similar chocolate beetroot brownie. We were eating it in work, and the were asking me what the secret ingredient was. I was telling them, just as one individual had taken a second piece, then when he knew it was beetroot, he put back the piece say, oh, I don't like beetroot and that he could taste it. Funny he couldn't taste it when he didn't know it was there.

I'm not saying you can't taste it, just that some people will be influenced by what you tell them is in it.
