I had contacted my nationwide bank and disputed £49 premium membership fee, bank initially refunded money but they took back after 1 month saying merchant bank decided in socadeals favour, which is really unfortunate I was confident my bank would understand this is sophisticated scam.
I would still advise strongly everyone who get scammed by this website to dispute transaction with bank if more people complain then merchant bank will definitely take notice of this scam and hopefully they will get blocked.
So all victim dispute this stupid £49 premium membership fee and request charge bank and anyone thinking about buying from this web site avoid them do not get fooled by cheap price as you will end up paying much more.0 -
I too have fallen victim to them. But now I can't even cancel the premium account so might not of made a difference. Has any one else had this problem?0

Although this site is not on here yet.
I now try & look all sites up using scamadviser.com
I had similar problems with a site from Facebook and Socialdiscountnetwork.co.uk
Who have changed their name ending to .com
Still awaiting a refund from bank. 😠0 -
Thanks to this forum I did not make a mistake.I happened to notice an item that was costing £22 on Amazon was £3.95 on SocaDeals. Decided to do a check on the net to see if they were a scam site and Bingo up comes this page. What a rip off company.
So Well Done.
And as poster above says I was in fact able to obtain exactly the same item cheaper on eBay anyway.0 -
Hi
I have the same problem, they took from my ac 49 GBP and item what i bought didnt come... , its 3 weeks after transaction. I did contact with them, this is the answear:
Hi Anna,
Thank you for contacting SocaDeals with your enquiry.
Please find the explanation of the charges in question below.
On 05/01/2016, you purchased a voucher for this offer: Sauna Slim Fit Belt.
During your transaction, you were given an option to become a Premium member. This option gives customers a direct 20% discount and additional Premium member benefits .
The details of Premium and the charges associated with it were listed for your confirmation on our checkout page. I have attached a screenshot, for your reference, where you can see these details and the confirmation box that must be ticked to join Premium. Having ticked this box, you acknowledged that you have read our T&Cs and that you agreed to all the charges associated with Premium.
These details were also sent to the e-mail address which you registered with SocaDeals when you made your purchase. Following that, a second e-mail with the same information was sent for your review the day your credit card was charged the Premium membership fee.
If you no longer wish to be a Premium member, you can simply cancel your membership in “Your Account” on SocaDeals. Upon cancellation, SocaDeals will stop charging you the Premium quarterly membership fee. Please note that this means that effective 08/04/2016, you will no longer have access to the exclusive deals and discounts that our Premium members enjoy.
As stated in the Premium T&Cs which you agreed to and as explained above, all membership fees are non-refundable.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further enquiry.
Kind regards,
Edimir
they send me this page where is this box to tick but I think it couldnt be in this same box to agree of them terms and condition and agree to have premium membership. Should be seperate box to confirm that You agree for terms and condition and separate to confirm premium membership. Do you know how to get back this money back ?
Like its not enough I cant log in to my account there cus its showing that my login or password is wrong which password i got from them! So its smth wrong here!
I think its not legal what they do. I dont know what Low or rules says, maybe there is some more clever people than me ;P .... and sorry for my english I'm not british
Kind regards Anna0
