    Lol....or the trolls!

Right, I must depart and pretend to get some sleep.

Large kick up the backside needed tomorrow if I don't make some HUGE progress with my 'to do' list!

    Night night xxx

Not strictly money saving, but I'm going to post the things I still need to do before Xmas, so I can cross them off one by one. Well, it will save me money in a way, because if I don't get everything done, I will have to pay for us all to go out for Xmas lunch...lol! Here goes.....

    Things to do asap

    Measure tables for table cloths
    Get spare chairs from loft
[STRIKE]Put Xmas cards up (still in pile on table)[/STRIKE] :o
Deliver local cards (have already posted ones that can't be hand delivered)
    [strike]Buy wrapping paper[/strike]
    [strike]Buy labels[/strike]
    Wrap presents
    Make Ryan's 'Honeydukes' hamper

    Cleaning to do

    [strike]Our bedroom[/strike]
    [strike]Ryan's bedroom[/strike]
    Bathroom
Hall/stairs/landing (need to get Stu to get the cobwebs I can't reach :o)
    Living room
    Dining area
    Kitchen

    Clean oven
    Wash sofa cushions
Wash carpet if SIL lends me her carpet washer (she's been saying she will for about 2 months now) - carpet cleaner has arrived...wooo!

    Last minute things
    Defrost turkey

Buy fresh foods for Xmas (fruit, veg, etc)
Iron clothes needed for Xmas day

Might be adding more things to this list as I think of them. I'm sure I've missed loads!
 Making slow progress with my list. Was going to wrap the Xmas presents today but Ryan is off school so that plan was scuppered. He's just helped me clean his room though, and I'm going to tackle my bedroom next.

The carpet cleaner is arriving this evening though, so will hopefully get that done tonight, or tomorrow if not.

How's everyone else doing? I feel like I'm getting really behind!

Hi Weller, thanks so much for the Xmas card!

I've had to back out of going to Birmingham for a few reasons - I can't leave the kids (Natasha wont have expressed milk and Ryan's diagnosis is that week), I think I could be a bit stressed out with whatever happens with Ryan as well. And I can't afford it either, plus if I took the kids, I would be the only one who did, so I wouldn't be able to relax and have a drink, and it would be stressful trying to keep them entertained.

Wonder if I should just get everyone to come to Leeds in summer? There's plenty of room in our folding camper...lol!

Edit - crossed another room off the list! :T

Snaggles, your baby is soooooooo cute
(well, I assume the picture is of your baby, not just some random baby! :D)

Nothing to do with anything really, but I just smile whenever I see that picture.

Aww, what a lovely thing to say, thanks! Yes, she is my little monkey (currently crawling round my ankles and rooting through my handbag trying to find something to....I dunno.....dribble on, I think :)).

Well, Stu has gone to put the Xmas cards up in the hallway, so that's another job crossed off. Wooooo! :T
