Awww, thanks Beanie! I will be on here celebrating tomorrow afternoon I think. Stu has found out he has had holiday agreed for next week too, so we have decided to spend the remaining share money on a towbar for his car (which, lets face it, after spending all that money on a folding camper, we DO sort of need!
).
So I'm going to try to book the car in on Monday.
But then that's it, no more expensive purchases, no more luxuries - 6 months of strict budgetting until our secured loan is gone!
Please hit me over the head with something if you see me pondering buying anything else we 'really need'....lol!!!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Snags, I so envy you.
You've worked so hard and done so well.
Big hugs to you and Stu and the gorgeous Snaggles Nippers xEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
The secured loan is £5000 exactly. Because it's linked to my mortgage, the interest is covered by my mortgage payment, so anything I pay off it will be purely capital.
I'm not sure how much my sharesave will be - I've been paying £50 a month for 5 years, so that's £3k, and then there will be some interest, so that would be a worst case scenario, if the shares plummet so much that it's not worth buying them. But if I buy the shares it could be more than that - it was £4300 this year, £4900 the year before....so who knows...lol.
I'm still on the old laptop at the moment, because Stu is hogging the new one. The funny thing is that even though this one is old and broken, I'm strangely attatched to it!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
