((((Hugs)))) Snags and family. I'm glad you finally got the diagnosis... at least this may mean there is more help (or more specific help) available to you. As for Ryan... he is still the same person he always has been... and you obviously love him to bits (whatever the diagnosis)!!Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Great News Mrs S. You have the diagnosis so very early in his life which gives him the maximum amount of time to adjust to it. My Son was diagnosed with Aspergers when he was 13 (5 years ago) and he improved tremendously since then as we all understand it better; as does he. Many of his traits are still there but he copes with them much better. Chuffed for you. Onwards and upwards. Lenny xI've finally had 'the phonecall'.
Ryan has officially been diagnosed as having Autism Spectrum Condition, specifically Aspergers Syndrome.
We've waited for so long, so I'm feeling a bit of a strange mix of emotions, but mainly relief.
We have to go to a meeting with them next Monday to discuss the dagnosis (I asked her to tell me over the phone so we could
clearer idea of what it means for Ryan in terms of the support he will need etc.
Thanks to everyone who has helped me get through the last few weeks. I still feel fairly sane (as much as I ever was anyway), and that's mainly down to you.
