My green light is on most of the time! :rotfl:

But I'm not sat at the computer most of the time, I'm usually sitting on the floor with the kids or running round trying to keep the house looking presentable. I just leave myself signed in, so I can keep popping back.

Oooh, I just made an amazing 'emergency tea' (you know, one of those things you make when you seem to have run out of everything). It was pasta, courgette, frozen peppers, onion, can of tomatoes, bit of milk and bbq seasoning. I cooked the pasta, cooked everything else in a seperate pan, mixed it together then put it in a dish with some cheese on and bunged it under the grill. It was GORGEOUS!

Usually when I experiment, it's horrible and we end up having beans on toast instead, but today I am like this ---> :j

    Well done you!

I've just heated up (in a pan) a portion of steak and veg I did a couple of days ago. It was a bit dry to just heat, and I couldn't be bothered to make gravy for it, so I heated it up in cider instead.

    It tasted lovely.

    So a good experimental-cooking experience all-round I think.

Sounds lovely! I cook meat and veg in cider quite often, usually chicken but occasionally turkey or pork (I don't eat pork but I make it for Stu and Ryan). If you make it again, try adding a little bit of orange juice too, and a tiny bit of flour or cornflour to thicken the sauce slightly. It tastes fab.
