Why should I waste £58 to comment when I have suggested a much cheaper alternative (old duvet and hot water bottle) lol ?CharlieBilly wrote: »Maybe try one then comment0 -
What have you added to this deal. Nowt but negativity its a wonder people post here when we get people like you
People are fully aware you can get a blanket and a hot water bottle. So you add nothing to this thread accept trying to deter people posting
Its not a waste if people want the product
Why not post a deal instead of rubbishing others just because it doesn't suit you doesn't mean it wont be good for othersstephenliverpool1 wrote: »Why should I waste £58 to comment when I have suggested a much cheaper alternative (old duvet and hot water bottle) lol ?0 -

Oh dear this is MSE and, if I think there is better cheaper option, I will let people know lol ! Chill out mate there are more important things in life !0 -
I am quite aware that you can use a blanket and hot water bottle but for us that isn't convenient or any near near as good as this product. Just look at the reviews on Amazon 4.8 out of 5 star. Also good reviews on lakeland
http://www.lakeland.co.uk/23698/De-Luxe-Faux-Fur-Heated-Throw
A blanket only keeps the heat in and hot water bottle only heats one small area. This heats the entire area from shoulders to your feet. Not too hot but enough to make you comfortable
Oh and look at how many deals are posted in grabbit forums daily 1-2 compared with loads more on hotukdeals. I am ware they are negative posters on there too
I will certainly think twice now on posting any deal. I found this one myself and I did my research first before buying this. I dont spend or waste money unless I have too
I also got two electric blankets as well. Its nice to save money but also sometimes you have to spend it to make other people's lives better
Try having a disabled person at home who feels the cold you do anything to make there lives better
If you like a hotwater bottle and a blanket good for you but its not for everyone
Anyway last time I will comment on this thread now thanks to the bargain busters0 -
Be aware that these heated throws don't get anything like as warm as a 'normal' electric blanket for beds. I rang the manufacturer to query if mine was faulty and spoke to someone who clearly knew his stuff and he explained that they are only allowed to manufacture throws with a much lower 'top temperature' than a blanket intended for a bed. I returned mine once I knew that the tepid heat it dished out was all it would ever do!0

All you needed to do was to put a thin duvet on top. You'd then have noticed a huge difference by not letting most of my heat escape into the room.0 -

....which would have been entirely contrary to the safety instructions!0
