Found this deal on net whilst looking for electric blankets my partner and disabled daughter. Both feel cold.
These keep you warm whilst watching tele perhaps not have heating on a bit longer they pay for themselves. You can get two people under one and easily cover from shoulder to your feet whilst sat down on sette.
They £95+ on Amazon, Lakeland but see them at Boots for £58. They also washable and cost very little to run they claim 1p for 3 hours but that's at 2012 price
Also can get cashback on top at tcb but only 1-2%

These are fabulous and ideal for that time of year when you dont want to put the heating on, but get a little chilly. Both Lidl and Aldi do them as a special some time in the autum - soft fleece but not the deluxe version. Same on Amazon - this was the first one I bought three years' ago and it's still going strong. I bought one from Aldi as a colour change (how sad am I?)

The Amazon one you shown is smaller version 150 x 90cm
This one is 120 x 160cm and it really feels luxurious and feels like fur on outside
I recommend a couple of weeks of no heating in house as I dont feel cold will more than pay for itself. Very good to have one before you really need heating on
I got mine next day ordered online at boots to collect in store or and got boots points too0 -
I posted some picture0

Don't see the point of this. Just use an old duvet with a hot water bottle or just turn on the central heating. Much cheaper than spending £58-00 at boots lol !0

but if you persuade kids or whoever moans about the heating to use this or use it for an elderly disabled person whop feel the cold more must be good agree it could be cheaper going to google ebay!! lol!0

Well if you heat your house it can costs £20 a week easily so a few weeks of not having heating on you could save money. Also some people feel cold even with heating on so it could help some who suffer from poor circulation for examplestephenliverpool1 wrote: »Don't see the point of this. As I said I have someone disabled and a partner that also is sensitive to the cold, so they suffer acutely when it starts to get cold even in height of Summer. Hot water bottle only warms a small area this heats the whole area. I have leave boiler off for a while longer as I easily get too hot where as they are the opposite.
I dont know why I bother posting this deal when you get people like you and Bsod if you dont like the deal fine why comment?
As for hot water bottles some people are alone at home, perhaps fragile so maybe dont like handling hot water too much.
We are happy with ours and we have two. Maybe try one then commentstephenliverpool1 wrote: »Don't see the point of this. Just use an old duvet with a hot water bottle or just turn on the central heating. Much cheaper than spending £58-00 at boots lol !0
