BT - has anyone else had random products added to bill?

Previously I have discovered belatedly that BT had added 'Caller ID' to our bill - I never requested it, have never had a phone that could use it etc......


Today I have discovered that BT have added 'BT Sports' to our bill! On challenging it, apparently we added it via an app 3 months ago. This DID NOT happen either!!


Has this happened to others, or is it just a one-off?

Yep. BT do it all the time. They are not adding new things. What they are doing is deciding to charge for stuff that was included free and you probably never knew you had.

They say you were notified but thats probably another BT lie

apparently seems there was an email that may or may not have been received that customers HAD TO OPT OUT OF.


Anyone else know anything about this?

Thousands of posts and a very large thread back in the summer re the fact that from August BT Sport would be chargeable .

BT Sport is part of a broadband package it was free but no longer .
Look at your old pre July bills see if you have BT Sport .
