I've just got a Moto G. I've tapped on the pre-installed email app because i use hotmail. But it just asks me if i want to merge my gmail and hotmail accounts and just use the gmail app which i don't want to do.
There doesn't seem to be an option to go on to the next step and put in my hotmail address and password.
Just wondered if anyone knows what to do.

Use the Outlook app and that will keep them separate.0

The Email app was rolled in to the GMail app a few updates ago.
I have GMail and a few IMAP accounts set up. They aren't merged; they are presented within the same app, but remain separate accounts.0 -
So do I have to go into the Gmail app to set up my hotmail ?0
-
Yes, but as SnowTiger says they will still show as separate accounts under the one app - although there is an option to view emails from all accounts as one list (which I never use as that would mix my work and home emails and would be very confusing).0

I use K9 mail app - it works ok with multiple accounts0
