I have had access to my bank account stopped. They are very vague, they won't tell me why this has happened and all they will tell me is that I will be imformed"in due course". Is this legal??

Maybe they suspect money laundering? If they do, I think it's against the law for them to tell you so.0

Sounds very much like a suspicion of AML or other illegal activity. Not much (if anything) you can do except use another account for now - if you don't have one then remember this when you do regain access to your money and make sure you have one with another non-linked financial institution.0
