Sorry, should have clarified. I meant here in the UK.

I'm aware that we're in the EU but am assuming there is a difference otherwise they wouldn't be selling it for over £100 less than one pays in UK stores.

I'm no expert but I bought a tablet which was imported from Hong Kong - albeit from a reputable UK website (simplyelectronics) and its been fine. I think there are guarantee issues though so for the cheaper price you take a a degree of risk...

Good point. No issue though as have about 4 from previous iPads and iPhones.
